Totally fed up with filesharing services!!!!!!

    Hi all,
I'm sorry but I need to let out some steam. I'm getting totally frustrated with all filesharing systems.
I've been an avid user of all possible sorts of fileserversystems. It all started with Rapid share a long time ago. I've never been someone who didn't want to pay a service someone is offering, so I've had lots of premium memberships with Rapid share, Filesonic, meaupload, Oron, you name it...I've got it.
Today I tried to download a file from Oron, my premium account was still valid but I had reached my download limit, ok could happen, when I extended my premium account I got the message that I tried to download from two IP addresses in the last couple of minutes. So my (just renewed accout) was put on hold for three hours.
This made me really furious. I understand the problem, it is not the first time an account of me was hacked. But the fact remains that I didn't do anything wrong. I never give my information to anybody, I can't do anything about it, but I'm the one who gets punished.
With megaupload, I do have a premium account, but although it is recognised as activated on the site, I still can not use it. I mailed them already a couple of times about it but I simply do not get an answer.
I'm really getting fed up with this.
I do not think I'm the only one with this sort of problems, so I wonder why I (or we) am (are) accepting this sort of client-unfriendly behaviour.
Thank you for reading this, I find it very difficult that I can not stop using these bad services, that I simply have to go along with this sort of rude and annoying behaviour, because I do need the downloads for my personal sexual satisfaction!
At the moment I wish they would all rot in hell!

Filesonic guys are really good. They give out extra Premium Membership if it's their fault.

Sorry to read about your problems.

Firstly, Oron are a 'lost cause'. They really are so bad that they need shutting down, for the benefit of everyone.

Secondly, I realised a while ago that all hosts are only interested in uploaders.....and even that is sometimes questionable!

Thirdly, might your ISP be partly to blame in as much as they've not got a good connection to a lot of places? I do think this might be a possibility if you have problems with lots of sites.

One final point: maintenance. Go through all the 'tricks' such as a good clean up with CCleaner or similar; a registry scan; malware scans, etc., etc. As a last resort you could try a clean install of your OS. This has been known to clear some persistent problems.

Re: Totally fed up with filesharing services!!!!!!

Thanks very much kalik for your much appreciated advice!
You are of course right, it is important to keep a good eye on some things. But I try to do 'maintenance' as good as I can. I've been on the internet for a long time, and that gives some extra problems sometime.
I just had to share with people who know where I'm talking about, the idea that because I want the files, I have to use these fileservers. Again: I'm more then willing to pay for a good service, but I notice time and time again that I encounter problems I do not encounter anywhere else on the net.
Anyway, I think I have now already cooled down again! : )
Thank you Kalik for thinking with me, and thank you Ajinkya9 for your reaction.
