Oron and what you should know
This is not a slam on Oron even though they deserve it in my opinion, but I've paid them 100's of $$ of the years so I feel I can speak to this issue.
For those not aware, Oron has had hundreds of thousands of dollars frozen by a federal judge over unfair business practices and questionable content. I have written Oron many times over the past few years regarding their unfair download limits. I have a membership to several different file hosting sites, and it is a very rare occasion where I have reached a limit with them. Oron just has you buy a whole other account.
At any rate, the feds are crawling through their books as we speak and a judge just denied their request to have Paypal release $350,000 to them. In other words, they will be lucky to be around much longer. I couldn't be more thrilled having tried steering people away from using them for years. But, for whatever reason, probably great incentives, people continue to host their files there.
Just let this serve as a heads up, or even a warning to anyone who uses Oron to host files. My advice would be to start uploading elsewhere. You can't even buy an account with them now without going through some elaborate and confusing bank transfer. Not a simple transfer from your bank, but a transfer from your bank to one they set up in a hurry. You can't use Paypal, a credit card, or online check. Basically, you can't buy a membership by the three simplest methods there are.
Bad things happen to bad people, and I've known they were crooks since the first time I hit their download limit. So, take this information for what it's worth to you. I just know one thing. If I was associated in any way with a group, person, or company, who's assets had been frozen by the government, I would find the quickest way to distance myself from them.

Re: Oron and what you should know
I think people should sit up and take notice of what "everlong" has written. Both "ircaddicts" and myself have been expressing doubts (to put it mildly) about certain aspects of this company for quite some time. Both of us have made several Posts advising people not to take a subscription with them; what is written in the Post above makes a lot of sense.
